No joy for Luca Barrington (or Calde for that matter). Ben Jackson got 25 minutes for Queen's Park (but they still lost).

Kamari Doyle was excellent again for an hour for Crawley today before he tired. Calde looked perfect on the touchline in the Brizzle Rovers dugout. Former Albion lad Isaac Hutchinson also had a run out but was pretty ineffective against a good Crawley side today

Talking of former loanees, where's Gyokeres? - not even on the bench for Sweden.
Ostigard starts for Norway

Withdrew from the squad due to injury. Reports seem to suggest it’s not a serious injury but because Sweden don’t have any competitive games in this international break the decision was taken not to risk him.

Nice one - I didn't even know he had been one of ours!

Well, I guess with a front two of Isak and Elanga against Luxembourg they could manage without him ...........................

......ooops!

Beadle keeps his place* in goal for England U21s against Portugal (Jack Hinshelwood also starts).

Edit: Until subbed off at half-time.
Edit (2): Hinsh subbed off after an hour; played on the right, 80-90% of England moves went down the left.

ROI U21s beat Hungary U21s - but can't find any information about whether our loanees (Moran and O'Mahony) played any part. BBC website on this match appears to have gone on strike, and only information I can find elsewhere is the score. :(

Andrew Moran was called up to the full ROI squad, not the U-21s (he was an unused sub for both their matches). And Tom McGill is ... Canadian. (And also no longer on loan, of course).

All in the “upcoming international break” thread:

Didn’t follow the U21s game but can confirm only Mullins started, O’Mahony and Slater were benched.

As pointed out by AZ Gull (and documented in the thread), Moran was with the senior team. He was benched and didn’t get any minutes in either game against Bulgaria.

As I said, I struggled to find any team listing last night, and only found one squad listing (which included Moran) 0 apologies about MvGill - I meant to type Cahill).

This is still the BBC report!

This was my source, I tend to go straight to the football associations' social media accounts as it's usually quicker than waiting for aggregators like Livescore (or the BBC) to update:

The FAI website notes that O'Mahony came off the bench at halftime - no minutes for Slater though. https://www.fai.ie/latest/report-u21-melia-sets-record-3-1-win-ireland/
