On the flip side, I guess the USG connection means we can “access” good youngsters in Belgium and look to bring them here once they reach 18…?

Yes that is an option but depends on how USG feel about that! Various Premier League clubs have connections with European clubs, like we have with USG, and are said to be ready to use them in this way.

Zak Sturge and James Beadle both picked for England U18s
Carl Rushworth has been picked for England U21 squad

I know Brighton do it but just seems wrong that scouts can poach 15 year olds. The worse thing is Brighton can only be loosing players to big clubs for money. Mad at that age

A lot of difference signing youngsters from lower leagues. Players we have lost are to big 6 clubs. Can only be for the money because it has been proven that Potter gives youngsters a chance if good enough

He was 18 and did't want to sign a contract because didn.t think he would play. Our 15 year old must have gone to Chelsea for the money and at that think it is wrong
