Perfectly happy to accept that Tindall & Co are a bunch of dicks for going out on the lash after a fairly unsatisfactory performance on the pitch but you have to say that once again the great British press have gone out with little intention other than to undermine an England World Cup. Well done all round!

It proves he was kissing & cuddling another woman . I agree the papers love to knock our sports teams rather than support them but the point about Mike Tindall is its not so much the out on the town story, it is he is married. That marriage is high profile due to him being married to a member of the royal family. It will be reported.

she kissed him on the top of his head, and he had his arm on her shoulder. she is a friend of the family. hardly a sex tape.

In my opinion, let them out for beers and fun. Perhaps flirting with girls and throwing dwarves is taking it a bit far but it is fantastic for team bonding and the sense of togetherness goes a long way in tournaments like this. Keep them cooped up in hotel rooms a la Capello and you'll end up with the players hearts not really in it.

Got to disagree they're dicks. They're a bunch of lads out celebrating a world cup win, can't blame them. Even Johnno has openly said that he doesn't mind.

I think the issue with rugby is it turned professional a lot later than football, and is still a few years behind in terms of professionalism. It is still acceptable/expected within the game to get pissed after games every saturday (as it should be), whereas football is more professional and more high profile so it's less acceptable. Either way the press making a ridiculous mountain out of a molehill. It's a joke

Film shows him flirting at worst (best). That's all.

As for the night out, the shit stirring Fleet Street hacks:
a) thought Capello a hitler for not letting England players let off steam.
b) thought Johnson now, and Venables when England manager, weak for allowing a boozy night out.

The answer. Ignore the journalists and make up your own minds.

I think Johnson did the right thing, with a week until the next game.

Spot on, a bit of scandal that risks derailing a marriage (probably not if they are indeed friends) and a World Cup rugby bid is likely to sell far more papers than four dead Welsh miners. Sometimes the papers need to take a serious look at themselves, they are in a position of being able to form opinions of their readership yet so often they abuse that privelage.

Can you really blame the papers ? After all you have to buy them.

Tabloid scum bags try to wreck marriage to sell papers is the oh-to familiar headline here

Paper reviewers on SkyNews or BBC24 summed it up last night.
a) Daily Mail had pic of Zara at horse event yesterday. They selected one where she looked sad and stated marriage on rocks.
b) Telegraph covered same story, factually, with a pic of Zara at same event, smiling.

Their conclusion ... Daily Mail trawled through for an unhappy one, to fit their wildly exaggerated story. Shit stirring so mugs buy their rag.

worth resurrecting if only for HB&B's opening post - the picture it brings to mind is as gruesome as Tindall's ugly mug :)
