That stupid twat on GMTV, why don't we just be quiet before matches

Am I just overeacting here, but I just saw some stupid twat reporter on GMTV sitting in a cafe in paris displaying the English flags all around him, and then asking the french people if they were going to support England, I know its only a joke but why the f*** can't the press and TV just shut up before any match, why can't they just be quiet, and let the players do the talking on the pitch, that sort of thing in my eyes makes us look like so ignorant.

i totally agree, i do think the media try to hype it all up so they can get some sensationalism out of it all, the british media in my opinion, are the worst in the world.

The BBC was just as bad. They really did their best to make English supporters sound like hoolies. This English group we met were GOADING Swiss and Croatian fans aournd them.


Gosh! Not "goading"! It seemed to me that they were enjoying a few beers with smiles on their faces along with opposition fans IN THE SAME CAFE whilst singing "if it wasn't for the English you'd be Krauts" which whilst isn't inspiring and a bit dumb, is hardly the sort of thuggery they were trying to convey by their oversensationalist reporting.
