Anyone who regularly drives along the A272 Cuckfield bypass will be aware, if the wind is coming from the south, of the delightfully pungent stench eminating from the sewage works there. Always a nice start to the day, breathing in the exremental odours of a few thousand Haywards Heathers.

Anybody remember about 18 months ago where we were the victims of extra ordinary amounts of pollution from France and Germany? The smell was absolutely rancid.

Smells of roses when compared to the odour as you go past Berrylands (the next station up from Surbiton). Absolutely rank. :sick:

I like the posturing that goes on when people sit on a train and get that "regular" bad smell. Nobody actually says "That's not me" but you get hand waving across the nose, pointing at offending area or people looking at others is distain ... pure theatre.

(Oh and my six year old saying "Daddy, who has done a trump?") love 'em!
