Thought at the time and even more from highlights that they should have been out of sight before Solly scored.

A real “result is more important than the performance” game for us that finally undoes the memory of all the lovely Potterball we played against them without beating them.

Big balls.

They started really well with a very good press. They had 2 very good chances to get the opener the header was poor. A couple tactical switch ups and I feel we were much the better side over the final 70 minutes.

The only chance they created after the first 15 minutes was when we gifted them the on the edge of the area in stoppage time. There’s no way you can compare that performance to the way we battered them over the last few matches.

I was growing very tired of completely outplaying them and not winning, so last night was fantastic. Nervy yes, but once again we were let down by incompetent officiating; and to be fair Palace didn't really look like scoring after their bright start.
