Certain red. How we got two yellows and they got one from that is beyond belief.

Even the official Gillingham site says he was lucky to get just a yellow. The thing that gets me is that the 4th official was closer than the ref so surely he MUST have seen it, why could he have a word in the refs ear and tell him.

Can't really comment on the tackle because for some reason didn't really see it but seeing Gus go mental because 2 of our players got yellows for nothing really was good fun

I am quite surprised that know one has referred to the fact that vincelot didn't actually have the ball when he was tackled in fact painter had the ball when the challenge was made. So in fact it was a two footed challenge from behind off the ball so it is a straight red! I don't know what the player was doing they were on the half way line not going anywhere!

exactly this, did not have the ball and was from behind, two feet...should have been straight OFF

Been up trying to sort out my Sky stuff for the past two hours hence me being late up... however and I'm trying to be devils advocate as opposed to controversial

Can you not see where the Donny fans are coming from for the tackle on Sharp now? We all see a tackle differently and we vehemently backed Dunk as we should as Brighton supporters, but can you not see why they will question it? Because I am sure Gillingham will see the same tackle against our boy and say what we did for Dunk. Isn't it better to just accept it happened and get on with it? On any other day Dunk could have got a red. That's football and shit happens. Don't please get into the technicals of the slo mo or anything I'm not bothered. Just saying it is footy and shit challenges happen, life carries on.

In a word: Nope. COMPLETELY different types of tackle. Cannot compare them.

Karma :) especially after Dunks 2 feet off the floor assault from behind on Billy Sharp

Still here four days after your defeat...? You do this with all the teams who beat you this year, you,ll be a very busy boy on other clubs forums.

Anyway....talking of Karma, if you believe that crap.....what sort of filthy side were you in the past, to deserve Sharp, Hayter and now ? Mason to be badly injured...?

anyone think it didn't deserve a red card? looked absolutely horrendous straight through the back and he was lucky to walk back on the pitch..

and that tackle equaled Painter and Ankergren getting booked? what a joke..

on the whole who had the hindsight to predict Gillingham would be spiteful in the dying minutes?

It could be viewed as clumsy but booking 2 of our players was taking the friggin biscuit.

Clumsy? Did he hallucinate a ball at Vincelot's feet? (plus imagine he was facing the other way)

not at all, as soon as i saw that i was furious it was a terrible challenge

mm, i looked in the back of the Argus this morning and the Gills player, during one of a few scuffles, looked as if he'd been prepared for this confrontation for quite some time :lolol:

i meant to add to my previous comment that Gillingham would be spiteful if they were losing right at the death XD
