Along with all of you I cannot wait for the first league match at Falmer when so many of us will feel emotional.

However, I reckon the really special moment will be our first match under floodlights when we walk up to the stadium all lit up and hopefully pouring down with rain and we then enter and sit/stand under cover. Won't that be great?

What a night that will be.

I'm not going if it rains. I'll get wet between the train and the ground.

The problem is then that we become softies.

I personally think that we should have a "hard-as-nails" section at Falmer
open to the elements where those who want to retain their hardness
can go and then taunt the softies in the covered areas.

A bit like the old East Terrace at the Goldstone, where as it gradually deteriorated only the bitter and twisted would venture. The theory was that even if the game was fantastic they still had something to moan about:US:
