How can Teville Gate be classed as a shopping centre - there are not actually any shops trading there any more are there? (I don't count Comet, obviously)
I walked through Teville Gate on my way from the station into town last night. What a shit hole! Apart from Comet there also appeared to be a chemists still open.
In the words of the Animals: 'We gotta get out of this place.'
There are a few shops at Terville Gate but none that would be sadly missed. Still, it's really too far out of the centre to be of much use anyway. Can't think why it was built in the first place.
As far as it goes, sad to say there are several so called new towns such as Skelmersdale with far uglier shopping centres not to mention various other places around the country. Still, Terville Gate is possibly the worst in Sussex but calling it a shopping centre is an exageration, it's more like an annex, (or an anus if you like).
