Test Match Day 2

Didn't get to see much yesterday, but from the papers it looks like a few of our boys got themselves out with some poor shot selection.

Windies bowling looks a bit more disciplined this time around, game on!

The bookies seem to think we're looking at a total of about 460.

Evens available on betfair for an England victory, with our record over the last handful of tests and with the Windies batting last I think that's pretty generous.

The next couple of sessions are going to be the key (HIT IT YOU PUDDING)

yeah 5 live commentary said the wickets were down to poor shot selection and not good balls, infact they said the Windies looked average at bowling and we only have ourselves to blame.

Key, Trescothick and Strauss got out due to poor shot selection. Thorpe was unlucky to get a bottom edge on to his pads that carried to the keeper. Vaughan dismissal was a well held return catch off of a slower one. If Freddy and Jones can get back in I reckon we can make 460 but an early wicket cold see a total of nearer 360.

It's all sbout Harmison getting the most out of the moisture in the wicket.

confirmation of odds

Evs England win on bet fair

1.83 under or over 470 bet365

FYI I'm feeling a bit smug at the mo 'cause I've got £50 on Lara to outscore Vaughan in the match at 2.1

nice

We cant afford to lose more than one wicket in the first session I reckon, Jones and Freddie love batting together and one of em needs to go on and make a ton, Gileo can get the odd 20-30 but I dont hold out much hope for the rest of em!

Jones is a great batsmen, seems to have confidence in everything he does and knows what balls to play and what to leave alone. Definitely out of the Jack Russell school of keeping.

75 for Freddie, this partnership is looking great. Sounds like crap bowling again from the 5live commentators
