A sort of world cup for proper cricket seems set to go ahead (finally)
BBC Sport - Cricket - ICC set to bring in Test league and play-off

This is great news, it will add some real spice to test matches and as England is the place that really likes test cricket, there must be a good chance that we'd get the final.

I think this is a cracking idea. Instead of the crappy ICC rankings, it will be much better to see likes of England vs India to see who comes out on top.

Current top four are India, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Australia - so England have a bit of work to do.
