I actually think they are different players. While I agree that Gerrard has more ability Lampard is far more of an intelligent football. Gerrard plays like a thicko sometimes. I think this is why fans don't appreciate Lampard so much.

So all those shots he had on goal at the World Cup were missed because of the system?I don't think so.He had a crap World Cup because he was probably trying too hard, didn't relax and started to panic when the missed chances started totting up.All he needed was one to go in and he would have converted a few more, of that i'm sure.
