Just to echo everyone else, what a complete and utter shambles. Why on earth did this go to court? Maximum punishment was £2,500. Which Terry undoubtedly had on him anyway, seriously, what was the point?

Our legal system is such a mess, it's just depressing.

Why would any parent accept any celebrity as a role model for their children ??

Maybe they do impact on the behaviour of young players, but not beyond the football field, surely.

I dont know what Terry's like, but he just happens to be a pretty good centre half, but no role model.
