West Indies v Pakistan in Guyana. Windies had a first innings lead of 66 and then collapsed in the 2nd innings to 104-9 but a last wicket stand of 46 has swung things back West Indies' way.

After so many test matches seem to be played on featherbed pitches, it's good to see one which gives bowlers some help. Could a cracking finish this one.

Thanks for the heads up, sounds interesting - must check it out. I need to re-acclimatise to test cricket after the overdose on that never ending 1 day World Cup stuff and then concentrating on the climax to the Seagulls promotion.

Talking of test cricket our Ashes heroes (seems ages ago now) are back in action shortly against Sri Lanka. However in Sussex's mauling of the L1 Champs this week none of the Ingerland players (Broad, Swann & Prior) shone, plus in the other games KP, Bell, Trott and Cook failed. Anderson, Tremlett haven't set things alight. Only Strauss (big century against Sri Lanka today) and Bresnan have shown any decent form, maybe plus Bopara who looks likely to take Collys place. Monty might be in with a shout but would rather he helps Sussex consolidate in L1.

When in Barbados we watched a bit of a local game, as the pitch was across the road from our hotel.
I'm pretty sure the fielder at mid-on was only there to keep the bowler company, everybody else was behind the stumps.

Pakistan edging along quite nicely.

I wonder what the odds will be on them getting into a potential winning position and then losing it?

Pakistan recovered well but I reckon there are few more twists to come in this.

I'll have to follow it when I'm at the County Ground this afternoon
