Happy with Poyet as No 1 but needs a good experienced no 2. Peter Taylor would make a fantastic No 2 and this combination would see crowds return

Gannon ,Curbishley or Dowie from that list.Solskjaer has no experience of the English lower leagues and i think Poyet would see us as stop gap until something else comes along. He would also attract interest from Spanish and South American clubs.

This is from the Argus :

" Former Manchester United and Norwegian striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is also thought to have expressed an interest.

He is currently in charge of the reserves at Old Trafford but lacks the experience of the other leading contenders and would be more of a gamble
. "

Doesn't say he's applied - he's "THOUGHT to have expressed an interest"
Big difference

Sorry why would he "express an interest" then ? There must be an element of truth in it, even the Arsegas don't just pick a name out of thin air and they can't have pinched it off here as I haven't seen him mentioned on here before today ?

Why would you express interest if you have absolutely no intention of applying?..

It doesn't matter - no-one knows whether these people on Bloom's supposed short list WANT the job, or whether they're simply the managers Bloom is chasing. And I'm sure it'll stay that way until he is appointed. Although Naylor states that "interviews will be taking place over the next couple of days", which would indicate that perhaps the 'big three' HAVE expressed interest. We'll just have to wait and see.
