How do you convert a DVD so it can be loaded on an I-Touch ?

On a Mac, if it's a commercial release, I use Mac The Ripper to copy the DVD to my hard drive while removing copy-protection.

Then I use Handbrake to convert the files to mp4 format.

I'm not sure what PC users use.

First you need to get a dvd ripper.

Never tried this one.I think i-touch used mp4 which this ripper can do apparently.

I have never tried this one so good luck.So i just Googled i-touch 2 dvd ripper.The above is what came up for free.

Free DVD Decrypter, or Handbrake, then I use Nero to rip it to suit iPod, as it has presets already to ensure the best format for the iPod.

the only issue I have found is you get audio synching problem
