My son asked me today have we ever beaten Chelsea? Got me to wondering, how many league teams have we never beaten, in our history? Any historians out there?

I'm sure you can look back through the records, and they will indicate that we have, several times, but I swear we never have!

According to the excellent 'Seagulls' book we beat them in the FA Cup 3rd round in 1933. That's the only time. Played them 4 times in the league since and lost every time.

When did we last beat Brentford away from home?

2-1 in the Cup the day Nelse scored the goal of the century, Lammy. Don't remember winning there since then.

Edit: may have been 2-0, now I think about it.....

Was 2-0 second goal was a penalty.

Brentford goalie looked like Graham Gooch.

That is such good news - something to tell all these 10 year old `Chelsea` fans that live in Sussex. It will help them come of age and realise they should support a local club.
Any news on a stunning victory over Manure - to mop up the other half of the class?
