Ankergren
Bruno Greer El-Abd Ward
Crofts Andrews Forster-Caskey
Dave Ulloa LuaLua

Subs;
Kuszczak, Calderon, Upson, Ince, Buckley, March, Barnes.

Ankergren recalled for his distribution, give Kuszczak a bit of a wake up call to try and re-focus him. Upson is flagging badly and we need someone at the back who wants to fight for the ball in the air, both goals came from Upson not competing for a high ball. Buckley is hugely off form and we need an impact player off the bench. Conway isn't worth a bib.

I was under the impression that the object of the game was to try to win,but based on your team obviously I am wrong.

What's wrong with my team? I'd feel very confident with that team. Good balance and shape, no players randomly playing somewhere uncommon to them for no reason.

How is Dave Jones still in a job? He must have some sturdy, top secret info on Mandaric.

1-0 to the Albion.

I can't understand why Upson is being left out by some. Admittedly he had a stinker (amongst others) yesterday, but it was only a week or so ago that clean sheets were kept away at Reading and Qpr.

You have replaced possibly the best goalkeeper we have had during my 60 years of watching them with a flapper who cannot catch the ball and Calderon with a full back no better at defending and just coming back from injury. A man struggling to find some form in David Lopez in preference to a man capable of being a match winner in Buckley. Upson who has been the strength and bonding of our defence for the last 6 months with a man who is good on the floor but not as good in the air. I assume this is based on what you saw at Ipswich, and you feel confident about that team. Apparently most had a bad game at Ipswich so there must be no sweeping changes just the obvious like Ulloa back.

This. Plus the fact that Buckley and Calde both scored the last game where we hit the net, something we are struggling to do.

Kuszczak's distribution was pathetic at Ipswich. I dare anyone who was there to disagree. If he were dropped for a game to take some pressure off, he couldn't complain. Obviously our best current goalie but not at his best at the moment.

Dave won't find his form sat on the bench, if we start both LuaLua and Buckley we have no game changers on the bench for if we're struggling and needing to mix it up. Upson is a fine player but shirked several aeriel challenges against Ipswich and maybe needs a boot up his backside to refocus him. El-Abd is more than capable.

The team needs changing after a joke performance on saturday and I would be bold, personally. Decision for Oscar to make though, does he want to freshen it up?

sounds like we didn't turn up on saturday which is rather hard to explain after the bolton game , or were our three goals just down to 5 minutes of sillyness from bolto...?

After Saturday I've temporarily abandoned any thoughts of predicting the line up.

But if Oscar (Nathan) is reading can you please put out a team that recognises what each has to do and how they are supposed to interact.

Oh, and anyone selecting Conway please explain why as he has yet to do anything much better than put his shorts on the right way round

Don't be fooled like Oscar, Conway has some special double fronted shorts.

must play ince and lua lua from the start , best 2 players from last home game .

If I heard correctly he said that Kazenga had a painful knee and they had to manage him carefully.

So apparently he shouldn't start too many games. I also think, from what the majority on here say, he is more effective as an impact sub to be used against tiring defenders.

Its a long season and I don't want to see Lualua aggravating his injury against the likes of Wednesday. I would to see him come on when we are looking for that goal we need though. Especially as I have a ticket for this game. (I missed the Burnley and Millwall games cause I saw them last season and I knew what to expect!).

Wednesday had just promoted last season and fancied to beat us at football. It made it easier. This match and I think they will more defensive. A win of any kind and I hope to be pleased. David Lopez has got be in contention for the set pieces and his overall knowledge of the game. Or do we play Forster-Caskey instead?

Granted I didn't go on Saturday but reading the newspaper reports the first goal came from a deflection off Andrews head and the 2nd by Greer being turned inside out 3 times by McGoldrick, no mention or blame on either attached to Upson.

:lolol: Did you miss the second leg of the playoff semi too because you knew what to expect after we beat them 3-0 at home just a few weeks earlier?
