I hope so ! It would show a bit of ambition to play 4-4-2, rather than resorting to 4-5-1 which we never seem to do very well.

I missed Virgos exploits, having been on holiday (missed last three games)

Saw the goal, but the highlights from the Preston game on Seagulls world looked liked he'd playing that position all his life.

Without me having to scan through loads of old threads..

Could you take the time to answer any of the following...

How has Leon been playing ?

Does Kuipers look confident ?

Is Jarret looking more dangerous and creating chances, is there more of a finished product to his runs.

How's Currie shaping up - looking fitter ?

Is Nicolas getting more involved ?

Molongo and Reid out of favour ?

Cheers :)

Knight ,imo, has been Lazy

Kuipers has obviously taken his spell out the team to heart and looks more determined than ever to succeed

Jarrett is a great young player, i am pleased to have him on board, however at this stage of the season i believe he can make a huge impact coming on as a sub. Like a certain rodney thomas.

Currie has been getting better with matches and was by far the best player against preston. some dangerous crosses and of course delivering the corner from which we scored.

Alexis Nicolas is looking great he seems to be the closest we have to a link between attack and defence in the middle. has reduced the amount of route 1 football we play dramatically.

Reid i believe has been injured and will hopefully be competing for his place soon enough, molango is still adjusting to the tougher english style and will do i'm sure in time.

Except that's exactly what McGhee did for Leicester, change a winning team!

We'll have to see how the recovering players come through the reserves to see how fit they are to be in contention.

Our Leicester midfield was tactically interesting, it was almost 3 central midfielders in Hinsh, Dean and Alexis, with Currie give a free role in attack to choose his flank.

Hinsh is the guy who will be under the microscope I think as McGhee looks at the team.

Bearing in mind this is a personal view and I can't get to away games...

How has Leon been playing ?

Fine. Looks hungry. Peed off at being subbed. Man-marked quite often by good defenders. Still to build up any kind of understanding with another striker due to chopping and changing of said striking partner but doing well considering.

Does Kuipers look confident ?

Yes. Back to his best. Deficiencies eg commanding of area are only re comparison with Roberts.

Is Jarret looking more dangerous and creating chances, is there more of a finished product to his runs.

No. Has spent recent matches on bench. Still a lot to learn.

How's Currie shaping up - looking fitter ?

Yes - Looking good. I am first to admit I was wrong after criticising him after Plymouth game. Pings in deadly crosses. Great on corners and free kicks.

Is Nicolas getting more involved ?

Yes. Growing with confidence in each game. Will never be a hard tackler re Oatway but plays the simple and sensible pass. Will be an excellent central midfielder.

Molongo and Reid out of favour ?

Molango is too slight to play with Leon. McGhee is hoping to either buy a brick shit house with skill for that role or that McPhee will make the step up having been bulking up in the summer. Reid is unfit and out of sorts.

Hope this helps?

:)

What the hell are some people on? Harding has looked arse all season and weve had much better shape with Mayo at Left back and also looked far more solid at the back. The result? People dont even want him on the bench :dunce: :dunce:
