To me, that is our strongest XI, Can't see us improving much on that line up, maybe an authentic left back.

Not having seen Hawkins or Virgo play for a long time... I would reserve judgment on those two. Perhaps tonight will give us a clue or two?

And I might be tempted with Virgo at right back? or Whing at left back? or Robinson on the bench, or a sub keeper Sullivan on the bench? and Wills looked pretty promising too... blimey... we appear to have a squad with many options!

In light of the lack of a new left back and it looking like Mayo is going to get a new deal, do you think MA will opt for Lynch? Therefore putting a slightly older head in the middle of defence with Elphick - not that he really needs it IMO
