Hull fans sung "Taylor, give us a wave", which he responded to, so Albion fans sung "should've stayed with a big club".

In response, Taylor gestured towards the ground which many (including me) took to be rubbing it in, reacting to the fans etc etc.

Looking at it now I think he might have been trying to say "look lads, this is where I ended up, you have to agree its a better place to be based" sort of thing, but it was a stupid thing to do.

Totally agree with ATFC summary. Annoyed me at the time, probably could have dealt with the banter better.

Come on lads what do you expect?. He was in the local rag on friday night saying how much he enjoyed his time at Brighton and has nothing but respect for you guys. Part and parcel of the game Banter.:mexican:

Not stupid at all, seems quite funny to me. If you give banter be prepared to get it back.

I didnt like him as a manager but he has helped with Falmer etc as much as he can and never had anything but praise for our club and its supporters.

Fair play to him. He has clearly gone on to better things with Hull and good luck to him and the club.

Some people need to take a f***ing chill pill.

Hands up all the Brighton fans who give it out, but act like petulant children when someone gives it back.

That will be all of us then!!!!!

We are really a humourless bunch of pussies sometimes

I thought Taylor's reaction was spot on. We gave him a bit of stick and he came back with an amusing yet true response. Lets be honest if it had been say Barry Fry coming back with a response people would have gone 'isn't Bazza a bit of a laugh, the cheeky cockney chappie' but as it is Taylor it is out of order.

If you cannot take it do not give it. But then this is NSC.

At least tou didn't leave in tears like them soft QPR fans.

Yeah, I mean how pathetic are they, at least Brighton fans had something to REALLY get upset about, when Peter Taylor ever-so-slightly mocked us.

That QPR lot, well, how dare they get upset over something so trivial as Hull fans singing about an incident in which 58 people died....

You must be so proud...
