In H Block (the so called singing section) this seems to have become a bit of a preoccupation. In all honesty , its about the only thing that kept us all sane during the Chesterfield game. I dont know what these lads and lasses get paid but believe me .. it aint enough. Heres some of the cast from the H Block pantomime:-

Shrek - this guy looks so much like Shrek its frightening.Doubles up as one member of the Bad Manners tribute band.

Dolly Parton - yet to make an appearace this season (who can blame her). Guaranteed to elicit some sort of chant (Dolly ,Dolly give us a song etc.)

Myra Hindley - some sicko behind me christened her during the Chesterfield game. Rather scarily, there is quite a resemblance.

Do any other sections of the ground indulge in this (admittedly rather childish) practice? Oh , by the way, when the stewards get boring we sometimes have to watch the match!!

I was standing (yes standing) next to this bloke, got a few oohh's (as in thats harsh) from some people but he still went on with it.

My view is its pointless to barrack the stewards, sing to players is better!
Or one famous chant last season "Millwall subs...you must be shit!" :D

At the Chesterfield game, one of the stewards thought someone in the South had called him a ****, got well narked and then went to go and find the bloke to give him a slap until the other stewards started to drag him away - LMFAO!! Best entertainment since the squirrel on the pitch at the Leicester game :lolol: :lolol:

J is singing!!!!!
Also the shrek chant is quality but i don't think there needs to be one for every steward!

I worked as a steward for a few games this season. They get about £20 per match. Believe me they don't do it for the money!

I quit because it was boring, and I couldn't see enough of the football. :nono:

I was at Chesterfield in block J (as spectator) and thought the singing was funny. 'Shrek' would take it in good humour, he's ok.

Didn't he have a weird two coloured haircut a couple of years ago?

Used to get

"He's got an omelette
On his head
He's got an omelette
On his head"

Always smiled and I'm sure that secretly he enjoys the attention
