People have been saying that tonight. But that didn’t help us when we played Sheff Utd, Fulham, Palace, Brom.

The other team can be terrible. But you still have to finish. You still have to put them to the sword. We haven’t done that in many of the games we’ve dominated. Tonight we were clinical and took our chances.

It always works both ways. We came right out of the box from the off and unsettled them early doors creating a few good chances and playing with pace and high press. They never recovered. Had we started timidly, they'd have likely felt their way into the game and perhaps grown in confidence. It's very rarely as simple as 'yeah but the they were just shit.'

Not to put a downer on a great performance but they could have hit the minibar big time and still won Newcastle were that bad. That said still have to but the ball in the net and win the game.

When I heard that Potter had changed the preparation pattern by staying at a hotel etc etc I thought bloody well done

Myself, I changed my Albion memorabilia around and wore a different top I had from last season, whatever works eh!
