The right result as I see it.
Switzerland sought to nullify footballing enterprise by both sides, by playing a safe option and choking the midfield - at cost of any meaningful attacking forays. They failed to advance that cause, or achieve an ultimate advantage by that style of football, thankfully.
It reminded me a bit, of the World Cup final of 1994, where Italy had all their hopes rested on strangling the Brazillian attack, and get a breakaway opportunist goal. Happily they also lost, but it was the worst final in history and the first to be decided on penalties.
