Tickets for Albion's 2012/13 season curtain-raiser, against Swindon Town in the Capital One Cup, will be available to all fans from 5pm on Friday.

Gus Poyet's side travel to the County Ground on Tuesday 14th August, for the game broadcast live on Sky Sports at 7.45pm, and supporters can initially secure their tickets via the club's online ticketing system, regardless of loyalty points or previous booking history.

From 9.30am on Monday the tickets will also be available in person at the Amex Stadium ticket office, and via the ticketline on 0844 327 1901 between 9am and 5pm.

The fixture will also see Poyet's players come up against their former team-mate Alan Navarro, who signed for the Robins following his summer departure from Albion.

Ambulant disabled fans can book their tickets via the Amex Stadium ticket office, while wheelchair users must purchase their ticket directly from Swindon Town on 0871 876 1993.

I think there's usually another allocation of about a thousand in the main stand which has a better view and safe from the elements.

They don't normally open the Stratton Bank at all, usually we get the Arkells seats first and then, if the demand is there, they will open up the terrace behind the goal. On this occaison it looks like they're only giving us that section. I've been told that they're expecting big numbers of home supporters to show up, despite the game being on TV.

I only passed my driving test a couple of months ago so want to drive.
Is it a straight forward drive from Brighton, plus have been warned about the magic roundabout in Swindon.

M23, M25, M4....just over two hours, easy.

A23,M23,M25,M4 leave at Junction 15 thats the easiest route

Dont worry about the magic roundabout its only wimps who cant handle it..

Park on Queens drive about 500yards before the ground
