I cycled to Bristol from Hammersmith last summer. Roughly the same distance. The worst bit is getting on the saddle on day two.

Sorry to say this SM, but I've always had a rather irrational dislike for Swindon, the town and the football club. The only reasons I can think of are:


-as a town, Swindon rather lets down the tourist board image of the West Country, doesn't it?


Apart from that, I bloody LOVE Swindon and if I see them, I will chuck them a copper or two

That's a bit harsh Edna, I've been holidaying to the West Country and Swindon and it's a lovely place and the locals are very friendly. Me and the better half had a great time.
