I'm only contributing if you make their players cycle down too :p

Sorry to say this SM, but I've always had a rather irrational dislike for Swindon, the town and the football club. The only reasons I can think of are:

-they had a nasty habit of beating us, going back to when I first started being an Albion fan

-the whole Lou Macari scandal and the subsequent whining from STFC at being relegated as a result

-Duncan Shearer's leg breaker of a challenge on Nicky Bissett

-as a town, Swindon rather lets down the tourist board image of the West Country, doesn't it?

Apart from that, I bloody LOVE Swindon and if I see them, I will chuck them a copper or two

Edna I think you post some good stuff on here but i think you should read up on the whole macari situation, we were shafted, BIG TIME. Whilst the likes of chelsea spurs and west ham were let off with fines.

When we were demoted macari and the board had left 2 seasons previous, no one was left at the club, oh shit have i just bitten, right im stopping before i really blow a fuse.

Not a good result today, mr Moonraker. Could have been worse. I presume you weren't ALSO hit by the a door on the route to your seat? :lolol:

What is it with Rovers? 3-0, 4-0? Bizarre. Really looking forward to saturday.

Was a mugging as i have wriiten elsewhere, I reckon the slave traders only touched the ball 3 times in the first half and we went in 3-0 down, very very strange game.

You're half right. Spurs, Chelsea and WH should have been relegated too  But lets leave that one at the gate.

I did say it was a rather irrational dislike of Swindon. I'm not even sure they were actually a bogey team, stats will probably prove me wrong, but in my mind, as a child growing up an Albion fan, we rarely beat you.

Everyone has a team they've never liked for an entirely illogical reason! Yours is...?

Oxford :)

I have lived in sussex 14 years and have only seen us win once at yours, last season. You are our bogey team and the majority of swindon fans think we will lose on saturday.

Have you SEEN our home record?

We are the team everyone in the country wants to come to if they have an away jinx to slay or a losing streak to break. My heart SINKS when I see an opponent arrive at Withdean having not won in two months, especially if they also have a previously brilliant striker who just happens to be going through an uncharacteristically barren spell :lolol:

I didn't mean Swindon by that, I mean any team/striker on a crap run.

I'd definitely not call your strikers' current run a barren spell (though I would like it to become one) :)

Having just come back from a 30 mile spin, all I can say is, I hope for those taking part the wind changes direction.
