Singing our way to victory

TOWN fan Mel Cammish has composed a song that he hopes will roar the Robins to promotion.
The season ticket holder and keen musician penned the catchy song called Best In The West Swindon Town, back in November.
Originally designed to cheer England fans, Mel from Chiseldon, spent last week adapting the lyrics to inspire the players who face the Seagulls in the second leg on Thursday.
The song, printed below, which had its first airing on BBC Radio Swindon, is a blend of guitar and keyboard work with some uplifting words of encouragement for the boys.
Now the father-of-two, who also sings on the track, hopes Town will overcome Brighton's 1-0 lead to storm their way to Cardiff.
He said: "If we get through to the final I'm expecting to sell a lot of copies."
Mel, a Swindon accountant, is yet to calculate a price, but he reckons that each CD will be around £4 each, which will include two instrumental tracks, Against The Odds and Town End Rock.
As for Thursday's big game, he thinks Swindon might just edge it _ if they play it simple.
"They have got to scrap the long-ball tactics," he said. "If they pass it around quickly on the ground they can beat anybody."
Best in the West Swindon Town
Come on down
Feel the buzz at the County Ground
We've got success and now we're wanting more
We've seen the highs
And all too often we've seen the lows
Is this the time that we've been waiting for?
In the wind and rain, we'll see every game
We'll be there when you need us
You can hear the roar every time we score
Best in the west Swindon Town
We're on our way
The seasonÕs done but there's more to come
And everyone has got a part to play
We know it's tough and the team will do their stuff
We'll be there each step of the way
You can hear the roar every time we score
We'll be there when you need us
And you'll hear us sing for the boys and the King
Best in the best Swindon Town

We'll be there when you need us
And you'll hear us sing for the boys and the King
