Radio 5 mentioned that we're the only side with a chance of beating Warwickshire to the title.

BIG GAME THIS WEEK!

Been looking up the stats on this one. If we beat Warwickshire and we get the maximum 22 pts and they get none, we would be on 165, and them on 192. Even with our game in hand, we would still be 27 points behind. A win for them with max points would leave them needing only 5 points from their remaining two games to clinch the title.

The title is pretty much Warwickshire's to lose now - although runner-up spot for us wouldn't be too bad. For me, it is our batting that has let us down this season, and while it's good for us to be looking up the table, a bad result against Warks could still see us looking over our shoulders.

The weather will play a big part in this week's matches. I'd predict a draw with only one or two days playable. This would suit Warwicks and, if we bat and get max points, should be OK for our survival chances.

Does anyone know what other games are scheduled this week?
