I had honestly forgotten this match was on. I just looked at the score and wished I had forgotten a little more thoroughly.

Changes required end of season.

Change today with Zaidi, more like England and Wales, Scotland and Ireland need to stop nicking our players. How does being selected to play one games make you miss two four day games.

Or in Chris Jordan's case - how does being selected to not play 1 day games make you miss two 4 day games?

Yes, its very frustrating, although have we recalled Machan to then not play him.

Why oh why can the top order not apply themselves like Brown and the Goff. They must have faced more balls than the rest of the batsmen combined so far.

The usual story is that someone WILL get in but usually by the time its too late to dramatically affect the result. At times Brown, Gnasher and even Wright have really dug in but, only at one end.

Yes, I assume Wright has also been selected to play for England but again has not been picked so playing in neither game. I get the feeling Yorkshire will apply them selves a bit better up the order.

Thats was the end for the day 276 for 9, did very well to get that. Lets hope we can stick around for a few overs in the morning.

At the relegation party Surrey also did well to recover to 195 for 8, lets hope Banger puts them to the sword tomorrow
