Assuming no rain ...

We need to bowl them out by lunchtime tomorrow, for no more than 250. That will leave us two sessions to get the 206 needed to win.

Target for close of play tonight:- five wickets down, no more than 150 scored.

Assuming rain ...

It's a draw. Sussex 11 points; Yorkshire 11 points.

havent Yorkshire one point less because they only got to 350 in the first 120 overs

If Yorkshire and Sussex end the season on equal points, which would be a possibility if Yorks lose thir final game and Sussex draw, what is the deciding factor in a tie breaker

Should any sides in the Championship table be equal on points, the following tie-breakers will be applied in the order stated:

most wins,
fewest losses,
team achieving most points in contests between teams level on points,
most wickets taken,
most runs scored.

In other words ... Yorkshire would go down, because Sussex would have more wins.

as opposed to Soft Southern Shandy Drinking Poofs obviously

i've never quite understood the stereotype of 'shandy drinkers'

not sure i've ever met any southern shandy drinkers, whereas i have witnessed a northerner drinking it

and also my southern friends are far 'better' at drinking than my northern ones

seems a strange stereotype really:afro:

Yorkshire 403 & 147/2 (45 ov)
Sussex 448

Yorkshire lead by 102 runs with 8 wickets remaining
Stumps - Day 3

Three wickets short of my target.

I'm not sure I want to see 8 wickets fall tomorrow morning. That would bode badly for our run chase. As things are now, I'll take the draw.
