The stats, which I think I have right, prove that:

9 innings (in first class comps this season). 114 runs- average 12.666

High score 21.

Oh dear!!

So to update England's number 3's stats:

10 innings (in first class comps this season). 114 runs- average 11.4

High score 21.

Taxi for Joe!!

Not in 4 day cricket I don't think. Seem to remember him getting 99 in a 40 over game last summer????

He got a 50 at the tailend of last season.

He also got a ton against the students last year

Murtagh ripping through our top order once again, why can we not attract someone of his class and pedigree. A great trip to Cambridge university next season me thinks. :nono:

In a cave
I see the mighty mighty Surrey have slumped to 87-5 chasing 299 to win! Ooops

RHB wont last long if they continue to lose every county championship game!

Have Sussex and England both lost yet?? If not why not?

Got one in a couple weeks in fact. Looks like the authorities have demoted us already. Might pop along to that one actually. You'd imagine we might even get close to a draw.

Well, we knew it couldn't last but something has to be done about the batting, it's not fired all season. Gatting needs to move from 3. With Yardy gone for a large chunk of the summer someone is going to have to step up. Goodwin is my choice at 3 and get Gatting down into the middle order.

Joyce will make a huge difference.

Priors got his runs for the season for sussex, cant see him lasting long out there today.

Surrey, the champions elect, are 109-7. They're playing with Gloucs
