The bowling last night was right on the mark, very few wide or loose delivery.
If your a Kent batsman who do you attack, Briggs or Weiss, both of whom bowled really tightly. Then once Salt and Wright get you ahead of the run rate, you can nudge, nurdle and hit the poor ball.
Really excellent performance, if we make the top 4, no one will want to play us, especially if we are at home.

I was right next to the Kent fans. Loud from the start, Sussex became louder, then everyone was singing Sweet Caroline together. Sussex and Kent fans chatting and having a laugh. Saw no problems at all. A few of the Kent guys next to me were handing out their pint glasses at the end to the kids collecting so they could get the £1 deposits back.
Few of the louder Kent fans were just chatting and having a good laugh with us as the game wore on. No trouble, just fun.
It's not a county game, its different, and Friday's bring in the money that helps the game survive.
The whole night was great fun, great atmosphere. Sussex win helps.
