I went to Horsham today to see my parents who live close to the ground. Went down to the club and had a few beers with some old friends (I used to play for Horsham). The pitch looks great apart from the Jon Dew ground end where the bowlers run up is very muddy. This is due to the old hockey goal mouths which even after years of not being played on still cause problems as there is a slight dip and the water runs off the main covers and under the run up ones. It could cause some problems tomorrow.
