Sussex Pier's

After all the years of hassle over trying to restore Brightons West Pier I see Hasting Pier is in need of £1m of repairs now.

Should we persist in trying to repair and restore these old Pier's or would it be more ecenomical to knock the thing's down and just build replica's of them?

One of the only places these days you can buy a toffee apple.

I like a nice toffee apple and on that basis the piers should stay.

Need updating though. Nice bars perhaps some good food outlets for a change ?

Piers are shit and almost always dissapointing when you go them. Slot machines, video games, penny waterfalls, Pole Position (although to be fair I still like Pole Position), crap fair-ground rides, greasy, overpriced food served by utter f***ing mongs, piss-poor pubs and millions of foreign language students with rucksacks.
