I am trying to organise a Saturday afternoon's golf for the flying squad members who are sponsoring the Ipswich game.

Which club in Sussex would you recommend. The club will be have to have a facility to hire clubs, as I doubt anyone will want to bring their own.

Hollingbury is very handy for the ground and will hire clubs.

Pyecombe is a nicer course, on your route in to B'ton, but not sure about clubs there.

If you are looking in the Brighton area any one of Singing Hills, East Brighton Pyecombe or The Dyke would be good. All good courses - not sure about club hire though.

There's Seaford Head, if you fancy some excercise.

I sure there's one in Ticehurst (Dane Hill?) that we got banned whilst at from at school.

Somebody had the bright idea for us to use local sporting facilities for our games lessons.

Send the scary games teacher along with us to keep control ? - no, the music teacher will do.

Cue total anarchy.

I think we lasted two sessions before the members realised why great big holes were appearing on the greens.

After the golf disaster they sent us to a local squash court.

I'll never forget a certain pupil sticking a squash ball between his arse cheeks walking onto the court where a couple of girls were playing, pulling his pants down, bending over and laying a "ball" on the centre of the court - then casually walking off in complete silence.
