Clever cricket from Somerset, throttling the runs and forcing the desperate run out. The bumpkins now in TOTAL command of this game as you'd expect when playing a team who can't even beat Holland.

We certainly wouldn't mind having a Director of Cricket capable of attracting to his club the likes of Graeme Smith, Ricky Ponting and Chris Tremlett (another five-fer today)...

Spot on Moshe. It's something we can only dream of.

Meantime under the hapless Robinson we have to put up with the scraps from the great man's table. In case anybody hadnt noticed Hamilton-Clown, Macmuffin and Katie Price are all Surrey cast offs. How can we seriously expect to compete with such opulent wealth and inspirational cricketing leadership?

Aimless and desperate THRASHING AROUND again by the Brown boys... 4-1-4-0-3-1 off Kirby's latest over. :nono:

222-5 (53 overs)

Obviously not a lifelong supporter of Sussex.... the worst mistake we ever made was letting Chris Adams leave up the A23.

Depressing FACT is that some people think it's great we can sign Surrey's rejects.

Not forgetting that we also let them have Gus Muckeye eh? The Chablis's never been quite the same in the Jim Park's Bar since he left, bloody disgraceful.

Just the 13 off that over. The Brown twins are going to leave us in the brown STUFF if they continue to show this willingness to chuck their wickets away as easily as our bowlers chuck pies.

Why is it when these two batsmen are in I just CAN'T get Status Quo's "Down, Down" out of my head?

"Ben Brown, Hamilton-Brown, d-d-d-d, Ben Brown, Hamilton-Brown, again, again, again, Hamilton-Brown...Ben Brown, Hamilton-Brown" etc etc

Thank Hell Scotland aren't in our group as well!

If Ireland entered, would that mean that Yootha really does bat for the other side?

When are Sussex going to start taking this game seriously? We will go into tomorrow with a small first innings lead and will soon be in trouble as Zumerzet pile on the runs tomorrow. We might as well declare now and let them have the points. If the clowns carry on playing like this we will soon be top of the league, a very weak Division 1. When do we return to our rightful place in Division 2? Would we then have to apply for reelction to stay in Division 2 when we inevitably finish bottom.

So having put Somerset into bat, Sussex have gone on to score more than 75% of the runs scored today.

Nowhere near enough. :nono:

Nope, that's Kent's job.

Will Sussex ever learn? Being cocky and scoring 150 more than the opposition will only come back to bite them. FFS.
