I don’t think this will be easy for Somerset. Remember we have sod all batsman and have been skittled many times this season. Could be tight. We should win but we are very much in the realms of cock ups possible here.

I give our boys some credit for a much better 2nd Innings total than I expected.

Farbs loves Clark but he's not up to it, at least not at 3.
Think Carter needs to come in for him next game. Carter doesn't get enough opportunities in red ball cricket.
That Hayes was a waste of a place this game, pretty much played with 10 men. If we had Karvelas or Carter instead, might have been a closer game.
Might need to move Simpson up the order a bit?

I wish all county wickets had a bit in them like that one. It was perfectly possible to score runs with some application and something for all the bowlers. Value for runs with the outfield. Good match.

In the end we were well beaten
