Haven't seen Nicolas play, but have seen Currie a few times... the former is compared to Charlie, i.e. not particularly creative... don't think we need that kind of player... the latter can actually pass!!... something we definitely need in our midfield, which lacks creativity, and has done for years now...

true but oatway was far out of his depth last time in division one and with rodger nowhere near full fitness we need to improve on that area too, as well as creativity, and i wouldnt want currie in the middle as from what previous posts say he doesnt run around a lot.

Victor Bhanerjee's notebook
Haven't seen either play so this is a 'cold' review.

Nicolas

If he is quality then why hasn't a lesser prem side or indeed another Cola side been in for him?

Currie

Released by a League 2 side...why?

Sorry to be so negative.

Currie - maybe Adam's just doesn't rate him... not sure that means anything... worried about his alleged lack of pace tho'...

Nicolas - maybe the other Prem / Champ sides just don't know how good he is!... after all, hasn't exactly broken into Chelski's 1st team, has he?... competing with Makelele?!...

Its posibly because we have a few options on right sided midfield players, Currie Jarret, Hart, Nicolas, but only Jonsey, Piercy, & Rodger (who will probably retire) on the lfet.

McGhee may feel we don't need all of them.
