We can if we get a real Chairman with money to put into getting a real ground (with plans for expansion), and the team. Oh, and a decent Manager like Coppell would help!

Half of the problem with our ground, is that we are fighting for Falmer because it will be relatively cheap and gets the best hand-outs!

We know there is good support for us getting a new ground. If we tried to build it somewhere less controversial, we would have it by now. But because Knight has no real money, he cannot fund a ground in a different place.

How can we build it somewhere less controversial ? Falmer was deemed the only suitable site ..not the most controversial site !!

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
But there are those lurking in the shadows with a bit of money, possibly waiting for the right time to make a move.

Personally if they cant put up the money NOW, I would rather have Uncle 'Potless Dicky.

The bloke is a LEGEND in every sense of the massively overused word.

Not strictly true. He's not a legend in a Merlin-the-wizard kind of way is he?

Indeed. And nor is he a explanatory caption accompanying an illustation or table of symbols used to explain parts of a map...

The biggest danger to the club is Dick Tights MASSIVE ego and until he goes the club will never move forward.
All this lifetime fan, season ticket holder for 50 years is BULLSHIT as Ron Pavey said he had never heard of him until he jumped on the bandwagon in 1996.
If certain so called 'better than you' fans had held off the hero worship we might just have got someone with a bit more money and a bit more political nous thus meaning that we would be playing in a new ground years ago.
And if nobody had come along the club would still have survived and would not have been in any worse a position than it is now

Maybe some truth in that especially about Ron Pavey I do not remember ever seeing him in The Excutive Club at The Goldstone where one would have expected to see him. That is not to say he didnt stand elsewhere at The Goldstone, I do not know.

I think that we will soon have to say thank you for what you have done but we must move on and you do not have the money to be our future, all the grants in the world are not going to build Falmer and keep this club going.

It is a stark choice between DK with no money and a bleak future or somebody with money coming in to ensure that we have a future.

Don't ask me because I do not know who it will be, it may be the men who are keeping the club afloat now, it may be somebody completely new but there will be somebody.

If you had been a season ticket holder for a number of years Ron Pavey would have heard of you beacuse when he was secretray everything came under and to him.
