As the posts on here infer we are about to go down the tube has there been any progress on the supporters trust idea?

It's 'imply', not 'infer', you illiterate nob.

In answer to your question, probably not, because there are no supporters who are prepared to pick up the mantle and run with it. It is very time-consuming, so if anyone has that spare time on their hands and knows what they are doing, perhaps they can go for it.

reasonable question....nice first line...why the need?
infer.."to conclude or deduce"....
imply.."to suggest"

matter of opinion as to whether we are going down the tube ..as you have time to pick me up on my english maybe its a job for you:tosser:

English I can handle - it took me two seconds to pick you up on your English. :p

Intricate financial matters and legal jargon - a minefield for me. But your handle on here implies you know financial matters, why don't you give it a go?

The double act is back - are they going to give you a 'Christmas Special' on ITV this year ??

Sorry Tit. I am going back into hybernation now. I was awoken by the disillusioned making anti DK/MP noises. I thought it might be an echo of what i was sayin months ago when those that are now disenchanted were telling me that i was a NIMBY or a Palarse fan. Funny how they've all had a change of heart.

KEEP THE FAITH ERNEST.

Auditor, this is an important question. But this must be the third or fourth time in a matter of a couple of months that you've posted on NSC asking for an update?

Why?

This is a matter being dealt with by the Supporters Club, not, as far as I am aware, anyone on NSC.

If you contact the Supporters Club officers, I'm sure they will give the latest update.

Cue stupid post by St Lennard.

At least the'double act' are not DK and MP lap dogs. You have to question whats going on, if you just accept all the excuses and bland responses we could as has been said before be walking into the bad old days of the mid 90ies again

Who has said 'we are going down the tube' ??

Harty on the phone-in ? a few self-important uber-geeks on NSC ??

Has DK or MP said 'We are going down the tube' ??

They have said we need a couple of million to sort out the current debts and expected deficit for the season etc....

We've had approx 250k A&K, 250k Currie money and 250-300k for the Spurs game.

That leaves us still more than 1m short on the housekeeping.

Not great - and certainly not the basis for impending doom.

Glad I was not imagining things, I was under the impression that there was stuff going on regarding this. I am guessing that the big problem is going to be making sure that it is impartial from the club, meaning that the usual suspects from the 90's cannot really head it up, as they are seen as being too close to the board these days.

I think I know who you are. You're that bloke that walks up and down Oxford street with the sandwich board saying we're all doomed and quoting the bible. Well youve converted me, I'm off to repent my sins.

Sorry Stinky Kat, i missed the post where you outlined your alternative proposal ??? [/QUOTE]

Once more with feeling!

The board need to balance the needs of Falmer the creditors etc with the need to attract more fans.

New fans will not get into the campaigning etc of the 90ies which everyone accepts is necessary, but in my opinion not a fan winner.

If we go down it means les people in withdean, less season ticket money and the spiral down begins. All I am saying is keep the team competative in this division and therefore get some new fans ready to fill falmer.

Apologies in advance to the large one for any grammar or spelling mistakes

Tim Carder is chairman tim.carder@virgin.net

but I'm assuming Biscuit here has given the contact name of the guy leading the working group into the idea, so best to try him first.

I believe I was given that email by Martin Perry.

Why contact Tim Carder? He is the Supporters Club guy.
