Is the flag best laid out like this for all the world to see, and as a talisman/standard for the boys on the park, or passed over the crowd and packed away?

I thought it looked great laid out, could be an idea to pass across the crowd but difficult at SOL due to the two levels and the flag being on the lower part of the stadium!!

Thanks for the lift and again, pleased you got back to Sheffield ok!!

Didn't realise Ian ... that's why I texted you at 2pm to let you know where we were standing!!!

Only realised when I got your reply that your were otherwise engaged mate!

It was a superb day .... just a shame the team didn't do it for us.

We missed Stavros and Virgo .... and Leon again looked too lightweight!

It doesn't look good for Derby then. I wonder how many will go to Pride Park after that?

No probs, TN. Glad for the company.

Seems the Mackems appreciated us, and the flag, too.

Check this out

Great reading.

I don't think they quite realised what a sleeping giant they had on their hands.

"...their FA Cup final" hahaha

Unfortunately it clashed with something I couldn't change.

You all sounded unbelievable on the radio and (as I posted somewhere else), the reporter on TalkSport was totally amazed by the level of support.

Marvellous scenes indeed!!!!!!!!!!!!

A great day out. After the gamea few of theirs were commenting on how loud we were and said the flag was the most impressive they had ever seen "by a long chalk".

This is what it's all about.

Saw you lads outside the pub in the Cardiff sunshine in May and wondered then how come you support Brighton?

Are you all exiles, or where you just sitting in a pub one night and decided to support a very unglamorous English league club?!!

Genuinely interested

PS I bet you wished we played Sunderland all the time, guess your travelling time was only a few hours ;)

On the last point - those northern games that everybody complains about when the fixtures come out are our chief delight! We must be the only Albion fans who mourn the loss of games at Carlisle.

Most of us are exiles, but not everyone. There are several Scots who lived in Brighton for a while, or who have family connections to Brighton. A few chose the Albion as their English team, for a whole host of different reasons.
