Sunday Roast

Beef's the real champion if cooked well - rare, but not too pink, with yorkshire puddings, etc, all washed down with a pint of Harvey's or a nice Chianti, but I do also like a nice piece of lamb. I had lamb and pork today at the Priory in Haywards Heath, very tasty.

The Carvery at The Priory is quite good I go in there occasionally as I live very near to there but I think the bars are not the best to drink in no atmosphere.

I made chicken roast yesterday while my wife put her feet up. When I do it, we have bread sauce, gravy, 3 veg, roast spuds and STUFFING. Marvellous scenes.

I also made rhubarb crumble with the kids which was served with single cream.


A fine Sunday NOSH UP.

My preference would always be for beef, although pork and chicken are always good.

I really don't like roast lamb much, the smell of it cooking always puts me off.

My missus cooked a great roast Chicken yesterday. All the trimmings as well. Lovely Jubbly.
