Went to Haven at Perran Sands, Perranporth, a couple of years ago. I think there were quite a few Sun readers there too, but to be fair, they are good value if you can get the right place.

When we went swimming, it seemed that you needed to be overweight, northern and covered in tats to be allowed in the pool though. I think I genuinely was the only bloke in there without a tat.

I have been on this type of holiday twice. Last year I called in advance to ask to be upgraded to a caravan from the basic chalet they accommodate these type of holidays in.They did this free of charge as I told them we have young children. The first time we went a few years back we stayed in a chalet in Torquay which should have been condemned.For what we paid £140 inc ferry the I.O.W was superb, kept the kids amused 15 hours a day.
