I wonder if we would have seen a slightly more adapatable side had CMS not been injured? I doubt it, but I do see the potential for through balls for CMS and crosses in for Ulloa, both building off of passing play at the back and in midfield. Just a thought.

There is a wider point, due to the recent EPPP there has been a massive overhaul and recruitment of staff, the investment is vast.

Each department has been trained to mirror the clubs/Poyets playing ethos/values, scouting, recruitment, coaching etc. and its proved successful.

Just like Swansea, BHA have a 'brand' of play that is intrinsic throughout the club, any deviation from that would render 75% of that useless.

Everyone saying "the same, but quicker" is basically saying "the same, but with better players".

Exactly. That was the difference between us last season and this season. Next season would have been even better.

We need to keep this style, but somehow find a way to win when we go behind, especially at home. A little bit more steel in the team would be nice.

Which is what the pork pies and kevtherevs of this world don't understand, and never will. Taking on someone in a completely different mould to Poyet would render the last three years a bit of a waste of time.

Apart from being able to play two up front/a second striker/a second winger more often, the style does not need to change.

Get the players to wear ruddy great boots and go out in a kickarse style.Like Revie's teams, which played in a similar way to us,but with more, erm, determination.

Definitely need to follow Swansea's model and appoint a manager to fit our template rather than rip it up and start again. Interesting that Laudrup has made Swansea's play narrower to make them more dangerous and more emphasis on getting the ball forward faster. That would help us. Doubt we'll see 2 out and out front men though if we continue with the passing philosophy.

Attacking, entertaining football. No more boring tippy tappy benign football, where the ball is simply passed aimlessly untill it is given away.

which got us to 4th in the table?
