Sturrock - Attitude was wrong

Boss Paul Sturrock says Plymouth were suffering from an attitude problem after they slipped to a 2-1 defeat against Brighton at The Withdean.
First-half goals from Trevor Benjamin and Leon Knight put the Seagulls in charge and although Nathan Lowndes grabbed a late goal for Plymouth it proved too little, too late.

Sturrock said: "I had pre-warned our players that this would be a tough one as in our previous away games, at Grimsby and Stockport, we hadn't performed well.

"We gave away two bad goals and I'm very disappointed with several individual performances. It was an attitude problem and after Brighton had gone two goals up it was too much for us to claw back."

Sturrock seemed to have the wrong attitude too. Whenever the sky camera's were on him, the tubby muppet was sitting down having a chat, and hardly paying any attention to the game.

It looked like a clear cut case of a tactical boob by Sturrock, with Argyle being one man short at the back twice!

:lolol:

But their midfield bottled it. Twice Charlie Oatway won balls that he had no right to even attempt to try for in the first place.

We had an off day, Albion were more up for it than we were, and McGhee may have won the battle of managerial minds on the day.
But both sides will make the play-offs at least.
