I have a sneaking suspicion Bushy is a frustrated amdram star. He'll never live up to the dizzy heights of Christmas '83 when his Widow Twanky dazzled the matinee audience at the Fairfield Halls nor the day he narrowly lost out to Peter Davison to star alongside the cast of Hi De Hi at the Hawth in Anita Dobson's critically observed "Whoops, there go my knickers!". Now he spends his days staring at old programmes for music hall shows and reciting lines to his fellow residents at Tooting Home For The Terminally Outraged.
