"Meanwhile, McGhee will give a trial to 26-year-old non-League striker Andy Forbes on Dodd's recommendation, once the prolific Eastleigh marksman recovers from a calf injury.

"I've seen him play," Dodd said. "He's sharp and scores goals. It's a big step up from Conference south but we would be silly not to look at him."

Scored 38 goals in 56 apperances for Eastleigh. Just a bugger that he's currently injured, would have been good to give him a run out in the reserves last night. You never know with non-league players, could be a new Kevin Phillips or a Stafford Browne.
