There was a streaker at the first match back in Brighton, the first at Withdean, a friendly against Notts Forest. Near the end of the game, I stood by my brother at the side by the running track and remember remarking 'what's he doing' as the bloke by us started stripping off and eventually ran on to the pitch nude. He brought laughter as he cartwheeled across the pitch before being caught by a steward or maybe a policeman.

There was also a streaker at Shrewsbury at the gay meadow. I think it was at the time Zamora and Oatway et al were playing. The streaker was the best mate of Shrewsbury's captain and shocked him by stripping off, running onto the pitch and throwing his arms around him and kissing him. What a great friend...

I saw a male streaker at a Maidenhead game - I was working up there and we played the winners in the cup. He disappeared off into the bushes and as the crowd were filing out, he emerged and was protected from the OB by a crowd as he got dressed again.

There was definitely a male streaker when we beat Chester 2-1 at the start of 96-97.

I was at that game ! Against Stafford in the 1st round of the FA Cup. The streaker cost Maidenhead the game as I recall as the long disruption interrupted a long stretch of Maidenhead pressure. That was a big game and decent crowd. We were living in the area and used to see a lot of games at York Road.
