Right here, right now
The stuff you get in pet shops for getting rid of pet wee smells is pretty good but it really depends er, how 'bad' the accident was! Was there a lot or was it a 'minor' accident?

Get a mattress protector once you have cleaned up.

Was not overly big tbh, but the smell just wont go away, might take him Dr to see if he has not got a infection as the smell is so strong

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I remember waking up Christmas morning when i was 16 and i'd done a weewee, been sick in my sleep and pooed myself. Luckily, i was fully dressed and my clothing absorbed most of the aromas. Along with my hair which was caked in vomit.
This is of no help to you.

Very good, the nail has come back but looks it might become a problem due to the way the toe is shaped now

I hope you're not trying to say his actual toe is misshapen mate. He probably has done damage to the nail bed, did you get that checked?

Were the crush injury happened the very top right hand corner of his toe is raised alot higher than the rest of his toe so when the nail is growing more, i think its going to grow into the skin.

Take him back to the doctors mate, that doesn't sound right, think ingrowing toenail and the trouble that causes.

My son is 3half, he is dry during the day and most nights just the odd mishap, im not keen on pullups or nappies at night time as dont want him to get dependent on them, i make sure he goes to wee before bed but sometimes he has a mistake, if i can get the smell out il get a protector

To be honest, whether you can get the smell out or not, still get a protector, either for a new mattress or to stop the old one getting worse.
